JNRLINK® ENGLISH CURRICULUM AFFIRMED IN INDEPENDENT HARVARD STUDY

The effectiveness of ALLiN’s Jnrlink® English curriculum has been affirmed in an independent study by Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education, presented in a research paper at the American Educational Research Association (AERA) annual meeting in Toronto, Canada.

Led by principal researcher Dr. Chen Si, the study examined the effectiveness of Jnrlink® English in the Qixingguan district of Guizhou, China, based on data gathered between September 2017 and April 2018. A total of 596 students from 31 Village Early Education Centre (VEEC) classes were assessed on their focus and attention span, memory, learning ability, and language skills.

Titled “The Experimental Impacts of a School-Based Language Intervention in Village Kindergartens in Rural China,” the research provided empirical evidence illustrating that appropriate early childhood education intervention programs can be an effective and economical way to improve the development of young children in rural areas.

ALLiN’s Jnrlink® English curriculum significantly improved assessment scores across all testing parameters, including focus and attention span, memory, receptive and expressive vocabulary in Chinese, and receptivity towards the English language.

There was also positive feedback from teachers using Jnrlink® English. Ms. Yang Gui Mei from Xinlin VEEC noted the program’s ease of use, stating, “The program is step-by-step, starting with alphabets, which is very helpful for the children, unlike the ad hoc lessons we used to do. The children enjoy the lessons, especially the older ones who are able to catch on faster.”

Ms. Zhang Li from Wushimu VEEC added, “The students also bring home what they have learned in Jnrlink® English to show their parents, and their parents tell us about it during home visits. This makes me very happy.”

ALLiN is proud to be the first Singaporean education company selected as a partner with the China Development Research Foundation (CDRF) for the Village Early Education Centre (VEEC) project in China.

To date, more than 300 schools in Guizhou have benefited from Jnrlink® English, with over 500 teachers trained and 15,000 students regularly receiving the patented multi-sensorial story-based learning program. Across the Asia-Pacific region, a total of 800 teachers and 20,000 students are currently using Jnrlink® English to enhance their educational experience.
